Essence Music Festival - July 2, 2010 - July 4, 2010 - The 16th Annual Essence Music Festival returns to the Big Easy in 2009! This is known as "the party with a purpose" for its hip-hop, rhythm and blues, and soul performances at the Louisiana Superdome by night, and inspirational "empowerment seminars" by day.
